It is official! I finalized my transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. After playing for Ajax over 13 years, making my professional debut on the 11th of March 2007 against FC Twente, it is time to take the next step in my career and it is a step I am extremely proud of! I am looking forward to a new city, a bigger competition, meeting my new teammates and starting of with a new period in my life.

Last Saturday we played NAC Breda for the third game of the season at home in the Amsterdam Arena. After a draw against AZ and a win over N.E.C. it was a good game where we took the 3 points.

Yesterday was a great win over N.E.C. on a very hot day! With temperatures over 35° it was important to get the goals in quickly. Halfway through the game we were already up 0-4 by goals of Jody Lukoki, Christian Eriksen, Tobias Sana and Theo Janssen.

The first game of the season is always one you want to win, especially when we play at home in the Amsterdam Arena with all of the fans supporting us. The game started out fantastic for me and the team scoring the first goal of the season.
