We are still feeling the blow of last night’s game against Germany. In the changing room it was very quiet and during the flight back from Kharkov to Krakow nobody said a word. It is unbelievably disappointing if you have set yourself a goal as a team, winning Euro12, and after two games you still don’t have any points.

Just a little note to my fans just before Euro2012 starts. Our preparation is going well. We are staying at a nice hotel here and we are training at the stadium of Wisla Krakow. Over 25.000 fans have watched us train yesterday. It was so nice to have the support of them.

As player of the Dutch national team we could give something back to Krakow today, the city that has welcomed us with open arms. This is our home base for Euro12 and we already feel at home. Together with all the internationals we have collected an amount for a Cruijff court to be placed here and the opening was, even though the weather was bad, very special.

Tonight we already have the chance to erase the bad feeling after the game against Bulgaria. At 20:30 we kick off against Slovakia at the Kuip and we want to work on performance before the EC12 games against Denmark, Germany and Portugal.
